OUR SERVICES

DAY OF COORDINATION

Your DOC’s sole responsibility will be to ensure your event day is flawlessly executed, beginning the process with your first consultation meeting. This time will be used to discuss and further develop your perfect vision, and together we’ll layout the steps you’ll need to get there. Two months prior to your event, our team will step in to coordinate with your selected vendors, create a comprehensive timeline, and cover any last-minute details. And at last, your big day! The D.O.C will be onsite to oversee vendors, put the finishing touches on your décor, and keep things moving promptly. You can relax and enjoy your day worry free, while we make certain all the pieces come together perfectly.

PARTIAL PLANNING

If you have your venue secured, but you’re looking for the perfect vendors or design inspiration to bring your event full circle, this is the service for you. Partial planning gives you the ability to lead the charge, but lean on industry professionals for guidance, advice, and peace of mind along the way. Working closely together, we’ll refine your vision, develop a budget, select your vendors, and manage the day of activities. You’ll get special access to our online organizational platform and services tailored to your needs. Together, we’ll create your special event.

COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING & DESIGN

This package is designed for those that want to hand off the nitty-gritty planning logistics and labor to the experts. This includes all the wonderful D.O.C services and so much more. We’ll begin with an in-depth consultation to understand your creative objective and aesthetic ideas. After extensive venue/vendor research and contract negotiations, we’ll find the ideal space and vendors that align with your vision and budget specifics. With this foundation we’ll personalize and delicately curate your design layout. With full access to Aisle Planner, the #1 project management platform, you’ll be kept up to date and on task as we coordinate your rehearsal dinner/welcome party, and the main event. And of course, we’ll be by your side the day of to ensure your vision comes to life. Planning any successful event is a full-time job, literally! So leave it to us to create your silver lining!

OWNER & LEAD PLANNER

A long time Maine native, I returned home after studying communications and marketing in Boston. While working in the service industry, I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to work for some well-respected Wedding Coordinators, gaining valuable experience. This led to several jobs in the event planning industry and the knowledge of what I wanted to do with my passion and career.
In 2022, I founded Silver Linings Event Planning and Design. I started S.L. with the intention to create something beautifully organic and unique— something that would be reflective of each client and ultimately bring their event day vision to life. My mission stretches beyond the logistical aspects and focuses heavily on building and maintaining a strong relationship with my clients and there vendors right from the start.
When I’m not engrossed in planning a special event, I’m most likely booking my next travel adventure, seeking out the destination’s best food and wine, scouting for the coolest antiques, dancing at any given opportunity, or just hangin’ with my kitties— Hector and Piggy.
